CREADENT Internship

CREADENT SOLUTIONS invites students and aspiring professionals to join us as interns and gain practical, industry-oriented experience — working on real projects, with real technologies, alongside the engineers who deliver them for our customers.

  • Real projects, not exercises
  • Mentored by working engineers
  • Internship certificate
What the CREADENT internship is made of A briefcase and graduation cap at the centre, titled Internship. Seven themes surround it, each tied back by a dashed run: training, mentoring, potential, goals, evaluation, development and productivity. The programme

Not a training course. A place on the team.

What it is

Real work, on real systems, with people who do it for a living

An internship at CREADENT SOLUTIONS puts you inside the work rather than beside it. You are given real assignments on live projects, and you do them with the guidance of experienced IT professionals who are accountable for the same systems.

That is the whole idea of it: classroom knowledge tells you how something should behave, and a working deployment tells you how it actually behaves. Interns here spend their time on the second one.

What we look for

Performance is the whole basis of what follows

What you do during the internship is what counts afterwards. Technical skill, discipline, how quickly you pick things up and what you contribute to the team are all taken into account when opportunities are considered — with us, or with the organisations we work alongside.

We would rather be plain about it than flatter anybody: an internship is an opportunity to prove what you can do, and it is judged on that.

  • Technical skill, and how far it grows while you are here
  • Discipline, reliability and how you handle a deadline
  • Learning ability — how quickly something new becomes something you can do
  • Overall contribution to the team and to the work

What you get

What the internship gives you

Practical experience, people to learn it from, a certificate at the end of it — and, on the strength of your performance, a route towards work.

Practical industry experience

Hands-on work on real-world projects and assignments — the systems our customers depend on, not exercises written to be marked.

Mentorship and learning

Guidance from experienced IT professionals who do this work daily, and who review what you produce as they would any colleague’s.

Work with real technologies

Exposure across IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, networking, cloud, data protection, surveillance and software solutions, depending on where you fit and what is running.

Placement opportunities

Interns may be offered the opportunity to continue with CREADENT SOLUTIONS, based on performance, demonstrated skills and the opportunities available at the time.

Customer and vendor opportunities

Strong performers may also be considered for employment or placement with our customers, technology partners, vendors and OEMs — subject to their requirements and their own selection processes.

Performance-based growth

Internship performance, technical skills, discipline, learning ability and overall contribution are what future employment or placement opportunities are considered on.

Internship certificate

Complete the programme successfully and it is recognised with an official CREADENT SOLUTIONS Internship Certificate.

Career development

Practical skills, professional confidence, industry exposure and a stronger foundation to build the rest of your career on.

The work

The technologies you could work with here

CREADENT has delivered across these areas since 1998. Where an intern is placed depends on their interest, their aptitude and what is live at the time.

IT infrastructure

Servers, storage, virtualisation and the day-to-day of keeping an office running.

Cybersecurity

Firewalls, endpoint protection and how a real threat is detected and answered.

Networking

Switching, routing, wireless and structured cabling, configured and troubleshot.

Unified communications

IP telephony, SIP trunks and extensions, and the conferencing that rides the same network.

Cloud

Cloud platforms, migration and the deployment practices that go with them.

Data protection

Backup, restore and data loss prevention — tested rather than assumed.

Surveillance

IP surveillance, video management and the access systems alongside them.

Software solutions

The Office Manager applications we build in house — web, mobile and database work.

How it runs

Learn. Work. Perform. Build your career.

Four stages, and the fourth one is earned rather than scheduled.

  1. Learn

Start with the ground under your feet

You are introduced to the technology area you are joining, the tools we use and the standards our customers are entitled to expect.

  2. Work

Take real assignments on live projects

Work on genuine tasks with our engineers — the same systems, the same deadlines and the same review as any other member of the team.

  3. Perform

    Show what you can do

Your technical skill, discipline, learning ability and contribution are assessed through the internship, not from a single test at the end of it.

  4. Build your career

Certificate, and what may follow it

Complete the programme and you receive an official CREADENT SOLUTIONS Internship Certificate. Strong performers may be considered to continue with us, or be introduced to our customers, partners, vendors and OEMs where they have a suitable opening.
